I’ve been thinking a lot about how short our time on this earth really is. Sure, day-to-day can feel long—but five years ago? It feels like it was just here.
What are you doing with the time you have?
I was scrolling social media, reading captions from creators I admire—and a few the algorithm picked for me. And what I noticed was: everyone has an opinion. On how we live, what we should do, what we should celebrate. And somehow, in the noise of it all, that unspoken divide starts to feel louder than truth.
My daughter’s pre-K graduation put a stamp on this sense of time passing. And I chuckled, because just before that moment, I had scrolled past a heated debate on whether or not we should celebrate “small” milestones for our kids.
Why does it matter how someone chooses to honor a moment? Joy is my anchor word. So everything I do flows from that core rhythm. If someone suggests that a milestone isn’t worth celebrating, what they want isn’t more valuable than what brings me joy.
What are you doing with your time?
What are you working toward?
What’s in your way?
My Bible study theme this week is Overcoming Procrastination & Living Diligently. Like all my studies, it’s centered on past, present, and future growth. And that’s really the point, isn’t it?
I want to be the best, healthiest, happiest version of myself. That means healing from what was. Creating joy in what is. And building a legacy that will live long after I’m gone.
So yes—we celebrated her graduation. We soaked up the sunshine. We let spring drift into summer with intention. And we’ll keep creating beauty in the time we have.

I’m building a slower, softer space—off social media and into something more intentional. If that sounds like something you’d like to be part of, join me here.
