I want to share something that’s helped me grow:
we have to stop mistaking our understanding for truth.
Just because something feels familiar doesn’t mean it’s right.
Just because it was taught to us doesn’t mean it’s true.
Truth asks us to stay curious.
To slow down before we react.
To look again, even when what we see challenges what we’ve always believed.
If you want to understand something, go beyond the surface.
Don’t just search for answers, study them.
Read. Ask questions.
Explore what the Bible says.
Look at what psychology explains.
And if you can, talk to people who live from a place of wisdom and care.
As you learn, journal your thoughts.
Write what you feel.
Let the pages hold your process.
When we document what we’re learning, we make space for humility — not perfection.
The goal isn’t to be right.
It’s to grow.
And when someone challenges your perspective, try not to take it as offense.
Take it as an opportunity to see yourself more clearly.
Because real growth doesn’t come from defending what you already know.
It comes from being brave enough to ask, “What if I’m wrong?”
That’s how we stay grounded.
That’s how we keep growing.
That’s how we lead, with care.
